Here I am at 3am sitting at the computer trying to occupy myself for the next hour before I need to start getting ready for work when I suddenly remembered that Xanga still existed.  It's been almost 3 months without a post yet I feel like no one reads this anyway so perhaps the duration of time is a moot factor.  Where do I begin?  Maybe it'll be easier to start from the more recent and make my way back.

I'm currently in the process of selling my house.  It's been on the market for about 3 weeks now and as expected there's been some bites but no winners just yet.  I remember the day that I closed on the house and how I felt like it was such a milestone in my adulthood but now I've come to realize that it was kind of a pointless move.  What 23 year old owns a house?  Maybe I just wanted to be able to say I did it and now that it's old news I'm ready to move on.  Ironic thing is, most people buy homes sell it, make a profit, and purchase a larger home.  That was the plan.  12 insane mortgage payments later I'm starting to have a change of heart.  I'm selling my home with plans to rent in a more glamorous part of town.  And by glamorous I mean closer to the beach, and by beach I mean bars.  Not that it's my only motive.

I've found myself in periodic self-loathing modes these last few months.  I had a discussion with one of the guys i work with and I told him that I missed being in California because things made more sense when I was out there.  I was on a steady work schedule which as a result put me on a steady life schedule.  I ate right, worked out regularly, drank less, went to church, had money.  All the while I was consumed with this nostalgic feeling that led me to be unhappy with where I was.  Now I'm back home where I wanted to be all along and theres still a void somewhere.  I'm convinced, I'm destined to be unhappy.

For the last 6 summers I've had my get-away from reality and a new change of pace from the monotony whatever the regular seasons had in store.  I spent the 5 summers at camp and last summer in Montgomery, AL for lieutenant school.  This is the first summer where I don't have anything.  I need camp.  Do you think the SA will pay me 40K+ a year to do ropes course?

It's almost 4am and I'm getting ready for work.  Happy Memorial Day.

What a depressing week.

1.  I'm not gonig to be flying here anytime soon, at least not this year.  I get to stay in Florida I guess and theres always next year.

2.  I took my fitness test this morning and got an 89.50.  That's horrible and incredibly disappointing.  I've never gotten below a 90.  A 90 and above is an excellent rating and a 75-89.99 is a "good" rating.  I've never gotten a good until this morning.  How disappointing.  However I did the best out of everyone testing, but still...that just means everyone is out of shape.

3.  I got a new tattoo last night.  Three stars down the side of my torso.  Before I told the the tattoo artist what I wanted this girl I was with asked him which was the most painful tattoo and he answered "The one down the side of my ribs."  I was like.....dangit!

4.  My credit card increased my credit limit.  Hence the funds for the tattoo.

5.  I went to the beach yesterday.  Man did I miss the beach.  It was good times.

6.  So I'm off yesterday-Friday.  But I have to go in today and on Friday so I kind of got screwed on my days off this week.

7.  Remember how I said I did a fitness test this morning...not sure if you realized but I got my tattoo last night.  Sweat from running on a brand new tattoo sucks.

8.  I bought new board shorts at the beach yesterday.   Why are they so expensive? 47 bucks man, even with a military discount.

9.  Being in the military rocks because you get discounts.  I got a discount on my tattoo because I was in the military and I was a local.

10.  I need to clean my house.

11.  I can't wait til St. Patricks Day!!!!!

12.  I can't wait til Spring Weekend!!!!

13.  I wish I had a spring break....

14.  Well if you think about it....i'm off this whole week, so it's almost like I do.

15.  My moms eggrolls are phenomenal.

16.  That's my new favorite word.

17.  My crew at work is amazing.  We won Crew of the Year...unofficially, but soon to be official.

18.  Girls are scandalous man.  My buddy let me know last night that he was "seeing" this girl I work with.  Well...she's also "seeing" this other real good friend of mine.  I didn't tell him.

19.  I gained 5 pounds this week.  I think I'm getting old.

20.  My tattoo still hurts.

1.  Monthly update?

2.  So many people have found me on myspace....like people I haven't seen in over a decade.  So awesome.

3.  I genuinely have nothing to write about.

4.  I watched womens curling for about an hour and a half two days ago.

5.  People who text message stupid things should die

6.  I'd be dead.

7.  I rocked out to old school Lifehouse last night.  Brings me back to summer 2001 when Cheryl scratched it on the way to disney.

8.  Emotional breakdown last night.  No details sorry.

9.  All for now.

1. I bought milk today at wal-mart but it never made it back to my house.

2.  I had an amazing time in Tallahasse this weekend.  I miss hanging out with those guys.

3.  I have to brief the top dude at our base tomorrow.  His name is Colonel Keith.  He's hard core.

4.  Cheryl hates Anchor Man quotes.  But I love them.  Let the games begin....heyyyooooo.

5.  I lost a credit card while I was in Tallahassee.  Its my government credit thats not even activated.  Weird.

6.  I think I'm pulling for the Seahawks next Sunday.

7.  I ran today around my neighborhood today only to realize that I could be the only single guy in my neighborhood.  I watched a kid get yelled at by his dad.  It was pretty funny.  Oh, and right around 430 on Sunday is apparently let your dog wander the neighborhood aimlessly time.

8.  Before I went to wal-mart today my freezer consisted of ice and a bag of peas.

9.  I really want to make a protein shake.  But I need milk.

10.  My mom left the country today.

11.  I've lived in Florida for nearly 16 years and I'm just now discovering the greatness of citrus fruits.  I bought the best bag of oranges ever.

12.  What's everyone doing at 430am tomorrow morning?  I'm waking up to go to work.  My life sucks.

13.  Jessica Vick has the most annoying sign-on alert ever.

14.  Wildn Out the new seasons starts this week.  I'm amp'd about it.

15.  I told this Major that I was "amp'd" to go compete in California in May and he was like "huh?"

16.  I'm definitely the youngest, coolest Lieutenant in our squadron.

17.  So I was hanging out with my fraternity brothers while I was in Tallahassee and I was talking to the new guys and it really made me feel old.  I told a kid was 23 and he was like man you're 4 years older than me...so I punched him in the throat.

18.  I've decided not to ever use my heater ever again.  (I just got my electricity bill yesterday)

19.  My heater is on right now.

20.  I like my watch....and so do girls.
